Studio Terms & Conditions

STUDIO TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The right to use In Flight Music Studios (Studio) is subject to Studio Terms and Conditions and by accepting these Terms and Conditions, Client agrees to be bound thereby. No additions or modifications will be binding upon Studio unless expressly agreed in writing.
  2. In Flight Music Studios (Studio) requires a 3-hour minimum booking. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking and first-time clients require a 100% deposit. We accept payment in Cash and Credit Cards. Client is responsible for any and all legal costs, attorney’s fees, or other monies required to collect payment for any services rendered.
  3. In the event of cancellation, Client is responsible to pay 50% of the book rate for all studio time canceled within 72 hours notice. Client is responsible to pay 100% of the book rate for all studio time canceled with 24 hours or less notice. If Client must cancel a session due to illness or other reasonable cause, Client must provide documentation of reasonable cause and Studio will reschedule the session for the earliest available time Studio has available consistent with the needs of the Client.
  4. Studio has the right to withhold any property, work, or files from Client until the Client’s balance is paid in full and all documents associated with session are signed by Client.
  5. Studio time is billed in one (1) hour increments, and any overtime is billed in thirty (30) minute increments. Any session that runs over 10 hours will go into overtime (overtime is billed at $150/half-hour for recording sessions and $300/half-hour for filming).
  6. Studio time includes setup time and any breaks taken by Client or Client’s party. When an engineer is provided, engineer is entitled to a 15-minute break every 2 hours (to alleviate ear fatigue) and a 30-minute meal break every 6 hours. All engineer break time is considered on the clock.
  7. Additional fees may be incurred when Client requests additional services outside of studio time. For example; editing, vocal tuning, mixing, mastering, and creating/adding/modifying tracks.
  8. If for any reason Client is unsatisfied with their session, Client must notify Studio Manager during Client’s scheduled recording session. Once Client’s session for the day has completed, all Studio’s services shall be deemed satisfactorily rendered by Client and no refunds or discounts will be given.
  9. If a balance is unpaid within 30 days, Client’s recording files and associated property left on Studio premises shall become the property of Studio. Upon completion of payment, the Studio will transfer all property, recordings, and ownership of sound recording copyrights back to the Client.
  10. Client is responsible for any and all backups and backup materials upon completion of sessions.
  11. Studio is not responsible for any property left on the premises by Client or other related parties.
  12. Client shall be responsible for any loss or damage to Studio property incurred by Client or related parties as a result of misuse, negligence, and or carelessness. Although food and drinks are allowed in the studio, any drops or spills that cause damage to the building or equipment will be billed to the Client and are payable to Studio immediately before the end of the session.
  13. Studio reserves the right to remove any Client or any related parties from the facility who are behaving in a disorderly or a disruptive manner without refund.
  14. No smoking is allowed indoors during your studio session. You may smoke outside at least 10 feet away from the building. Please do not leave cigarette butts or trash matches on the ground. Ashtrays are provided outside for your convenience.
  15. No firearms or weapons are allowed on Studio property. Possession or verbal representation of any weapon will result in Client’s immediate expulsion from Studio property and forfeit of the session without refund.
  16. Please help us keep the area neat and orderly. Do not leave food or trash around the grounds or in the studio. Please clean up any mess that you make. Place all trash in appropriate containers.
  17. Client releases Studio from any harm or damage that may occur to Client or any person in the Client’s party or to equipment belonging to the Client or a member of Client’s party.
  18. Client agrees to allow their name, photographic image, and/or musical samples to be used on Studio’s website and/or for other promotional purposes unless otherwise agreed upon. Studio will not sell or allow downloads of Client’s music without prior agreement.
  19. The Studio will provide a runner to Client for the purpose of food pickup within a two-mile radius. Any runs over a two-mile radius or for any other reason than food pickup are subject to a $25 service fee.
